The event page just appears blank. What do I do?

If you encounter this issue please walk through the following troubleshooting tips:
  • Use Chrome as your web browser. The event platform is optimized for Chrome but is also supported by Firefox, Safari and Microsoft Edge. Please note, the event page may not load on Internet Explorer.
  • Turn off your remote desktop VPN and clear your cache/cookies. Close and reopen the browser.
  • If you are still unable to access the platform after doing the steps above, you may need to reach out to your office tech support to make sure Accelevents is not being blocked by a diligent firewall.
Tried all three steps and still not having success? Send us an email at info@s2egroup.ca with a screenshot of what you are seeing so we can help.

How do I connect with other attendees?

Connecting with other attendees is just like all other social networks. You will be sending a request to another attendee and waiting for a response back to be connect.
  • Click on the People Tab - by doing this you will see all other attendees
  • When you found an attendee you would like to connect with, click the Connect Button to send a request to them to be connected.
  • Once the other attendee accepts your request the previous Connect Button will be replaced with a Video Button to have a one on one meeting together.
All attendees you connect with will be found under the My Connections Tab.

How do I know if other attendees are trying to connect with me?

You will receive a notification badge on the bell icon. Click on the bell icon and you can either connect or decline the connection with the attendee

Do I need to connect with other attendees to talk to them?

That depends. If you want to have a video chat with other attendees you will need to connect with them.
If you want to simply chat with an attendee over text you do not need to connect with them.

To have a chat conversation go to the People Tab and find the attendee you wish to chat with. Click on their name and chat away!

To see all the attendees you are having a private chat with click on the little arrow facing away from the chat bar.

How do I have a one on one video chat with one of my connections?

Clicking the Meet Button allows you to request a meeting or to schedule a meeting with another attendee.

If you would like to video chat at that particular time:

  • Click the video button or start meeting button. This should prompt to allow microphone and camera access on the browser and to join the meeting.
  • Click those buttons to start the meeting.
  • The other attendee should see a pop-up to accept or decline the video call.
  • When both parties accept, you can start your live video call!

If you want to video chat later on a scheduled time and date:

  • Click the meet button and it should open up the option to select the date and time for the meeting.
  • When the request is submitted, the other attendee should receive a notification badge
  • When the other attendee accepts the meeting request, the appointment will be added to your calendar
